Cellar De Almas - Pineapple Wine
Have you had pineapple wine?? 🍍🍷I bet you haven’t...well, I have thanks to Dan at Cellar De Almas, in NY. This wine is made from organic pineapples and it shocked me!!! I expected a more pineapple-ey thing, sweet, etc and it’s not at all. It’s bone dry and due to time on lees, there’s some yeast funk on it. Is compare it to a hard cider. Dan is working on some things over there on the East Coast and I can’t wait to see what he does!!!
